The Junction is recruiting for a Finance Apprentice
Job Title: Finance Apprentice
Salary: £15,642 per annum, pro rata
Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
Contract Type: Permanent
Job Purpose
Provide support to the Finance Officer and Deputy CEO.
Data entry of information onto our accounting software. This will include processing invoices and bills and ensuring that the information is accurate and correct.
Provide support in setting up payment runs and keeping on top of when payments are due to suppliers.
Reconciling bank transactions and chasing any missing information with the relevant people.
Dealing with emails and getting back to them where required.
Aiding in the payroll process where required and dealing with any payroll queries.
Providing support to managers and sending them information when required in order to meet deadlines.
Completing any other tasks assigned by colleagues.
The course you will be doing is AAT Level 2 and it will be done at a local college. You will be given one day a week off work to attend the classes and study.
Support
Support will be provided by the Finance Officer or appropriate designated person who will carry out regular supervisions.

Establish and maintain positive professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Working in Teams
To support the development of the service in line with The Junction strategic plans by taking an active part in team meetings and support, as well as working collaboratively with all colleagues and partner agencies.
To contribute to the day to day administration & running of The Junctions projects & services.
Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time commensurate with the post.
