Enjoy a sparkling welcome drink, delicious afternoon tea, and hear from inspiring female speakers (to be announced soon). Network, share stories, and celebrate women while raising vital funds for The Junction, supporting children, young people and families, across the Tees Valley.

In line with the 2026 International Women’s Day theme: Give to Gain this event is about celebrating women and embracing the power of giving.

🌟 Katrina Morley OBE
CEO, Tees Valley Education Multi Academy Trust
Katrina Morley OBE is a dynamic system leader and passionate advocate for educational equality. She works across local, regional and national levels to shape policy, practice and opportunity for children and young people, collaborating with strategic partners to drive meaningful change in education and communities.

Katrina recently co-authored Tackling Poverty & Disadvantage in Schools, reflecting her deep commitment to addressing educational inequality. In recognition of her outstanding contribution to education and the Tees Valley region, she was awarded an OBE for Services to Education in the King’s New Year Honours 2025.

🌟 Anna Turley MP
Member of Parliament for Redcar & Cleveland | Cabinet Minister | Chair of the Labour Party
Anna Turley MP is both a national political leader and a committed local MP, with a career rooted in fairness, opportunity and strong communities. Before entering Parliament, she worked in public service and local government, driven by a belief that politics should reflect the people it serves.

Anna is passionate about encouraging women and girls to get involved in politics and civic life. Through her work with schools, young people and community groups across Redcar & Cleveland, she champions representation and inspires the next generation of female leaders.

🌟 Stacey Phoenix
Director & Head of Family Law, Cygnet Law
From solicitor to Director and Head of Family Law, Stacey Phoenix is a respected leader and advocate for equality within the legal profession. She champions inclusivity and opportunity, ensuring talent is nurtured regardless of background.

Stacey has been recognised for her outstanding leadership, winning Business Leader of the Year at the North East Business Hero Awards and contributing to her team’s success as Family Law Team of the Year at the 2025 Northern Law Awards. She actively supports young people through mentoring and partnerships with schools and colleges, helping to create real pathways into legal careers.

🌟Beth Major

Chief Executive Officer at The Junction since 2018

Beth brings over 25 years of leadership experience in services supporting children, young people, and families. Born in the North East, Beth’s personal experiences drive her empathy and commitment to community support. Her expertise spans diverse fields like safeguarding, youth employment, and mental health. Passionate about co-production, she develops responsive services that address real needs within the Tees Valley. Beth balances external strategy with her dedication to empowering young people, making her happiest when engaging directly with the community to design services for lasting impact.

This inspiring afternoon will also feature live music from the amazingly talented Joanna Andrews, a stunning sparkling afternoon tea, and meaningful networking with professional women from across Tees Valley.
