All Our Futures

Launched in April 2024, the All Our Futures Project is a partnership between The Junction Foundation, Tees Valley Wildlife Trust, and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.

Supported by National Lottery funding, this project is all about empowering young people and communities to connect with nature and take meaningful action on climate change.

Our mission is to raise awareness of environmental issues and empower communities to make a difference, reigniting their connection to urban, coastal and rural environments, and working together to improve these spaces for people and nature.

How You Can Get Involved

  • Youth Forum: A group of 11–18-year-olds who meet every two weeks to help shape the project, plan activities, and share ideas.

  • Youth Rangers: A hands-on group of 11–18-year-olds that meets twice a month to do practical conservation work—like tree planting, habitat restoration, and wildlife surveys.

  • After-School & Holiday Sessions: Fun, nature-focused activities for schools, youth groups and families, including den-building, rock-pooling, sustainable crafts, and more.

  • Annual Youth Climate Conference: An event bringing together 100 young people from across Redcar and Cleveland to discuss and influence local climate action.

  • Community Green Spaces: Working with local volunteers to develop three community green spaces, to make them more accessible and wildlife-friendly.
